Our Background

With over a decade of experience in the building assessment and retrofit sector, we specialise in solid wall insulation using woodfibre products, as well as cavity and timber wall construction using a range of insulants.

In more recent years we been impressed by the International Passive House Association's building standard. Designers and builders using this standard have a proven track record of producing buildings that meet the super low energy designs that it's analysis tool (PHPP) predicts. In other words, there is no 'performance gap' that so often happens with other tools and standards.

Before gaining the Certified Passive House Consultant qualification, we trained to the AECB's CarbonLite Retrofit standard, having also been Retrofit Coordinators during the first round of 'The Green Deal', a government based funding scheme for domestic retrofit measures.
